Matovu Geofrey
I would like to take a moment from your busy day to tell you about my story.
MATOVU GEOFFREY ‘s parents died of AIDS when he was at a tender age. On 08th, July 2023,Geoffrey and his two younger siblings were dropped off at our orphanage shelter in Kavule,Mpigi by his Uncle who introduced himself to us as Kasirye Fred . The children were tested to make sure they were healthy for adoption. His young siblings passed with a clean bill of health but the Thirteen year old boy, like his parents, tested positive for HIV. His siblings – his only family – were adopted by a family in the Northern part of Uganda. And, Geoffrey with no medicine and treatment to HIV/AIDS was adopted to stay with us at Roman Camp Initiative to have full access for better health HIV care .His viral load regresses and the disease fades. Now, Geoffrey still HIV+ but he has a chance to literally live his life and stays happy in the community. So Geoffrey, who like all the HIV+ kids living around him, suddenly has the ability to live. And in 2025 the mission of this little hospice changes. He’s gonna live, and you know what? Geoffrey needs to be educated. He needs to learn how to read and write.
As well he needs to exercise the ability have access to basic needs and also
experience to adopt new friends
elsewhere in the World.
Therefore lets join our hands together to save his life and others of the same nature.
